Birchwood Park Bike2Work a huge success!

MEPC Birchwood Park celebrated Bike2Work week with a range of activities, discounts and competitions for all companies and employees based on Birchwood Park.

Cyclists visiting The Centre throughout the week were eligible to receive a FREE biker's brunch voucher, and this year 111 vouchers were given out to 40 different cyclists!

The Bike Event also included a number of displays and information points to help encourage people to find out more about cycling to work and the benefits of giving it a try.

  • Stunt Displays and cycle tricks provided by MJ Cycles
  • Personal cycle route planning with Lesley McAllister, Principal Travel Planner at Warrington Borough Council
  • Free property marking kits and the chance to meet Inspector Richard Spedding and PCSO Allison Davies from Risley Neighbourhood Police Unit
  • Inbody Fitness Assesments, provided by Alive and Well
  • Free cycle hire - to ride around the local area
  • Registration for Free cycle training - conducted by BikeRight!
  • Top Gear Cycles and MJ Cycles™ Displays - to view and buy bikes, cycling/running accessories and clothing
  • Free Trial Spinning Classes, as provided by Alive and Well
  • Displays from our Park-based charities and cycling events with Families United and MacMillan Cancer Support
  • Information about Free green travel in and around Birchwood Park
